Inserting OperatorBCForward is currently looking for Inserting Operator in Getzville, NY 14068Position Title: Inserting OperatorLocation: Getzville, NY 14068Expected Duration: 6+ months.Estimated Start Date: 5/6/2024Pay Rate: $18/hr on W2Position Purpose: * Operate and maintain an inserter to produce mail pieces and prepare mailing for the Post Office. * Inspect pieces during production and make adjustments to keep machines running.Education/Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent. * 1+ year experience working in a mail production facility operating a mechanical inserter. * Experience with USPS postal regulations strongly preferred.Responsibilities: * Produce mail-pieces using automated inserting technology. * Operate folding machines, cutter and bindery equipment. * Operate machines that insert printed matter, such as letters or booklets into envelopes. * Maintain equipment using provided maintenance schedule. * Maintain optimal level of productivity. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for a long period of time.
