POSITION SUMMARY: The Infection Control Nurse provides necessary educationaland learning opportunities within a supportive environment that will assistpersonnel in gaining knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to perform assignedduties safely and effectively. Responsible for coordinating and developinglearning experiences that support quality care consistent with standards,policies and procedures of the facility. The Infection Control Nurse alsomonitors the activities of nursing personnel to ensure quality care thatcomplies with state, federal, local, and facility standards.
