Duties Job responsibilities include: Guiding babies through education/development stages with engaging experiences. Building secure relationships with the children. Thinking on your feet and responding to each child?s needs efficiently and effectively. Keeping a precise log of each individual child's events throughout the day. Reporting accidents, illness, and unusual behavior of children to the director and parents. Ensuring close communication with parents- through informal discussions, parent-communication app, and parent-teacher conferences Provide social/emotional, physical, cognitive support for children. Ensure a healthy classroom environment ? including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children. Follow all Arizona State licensing guidelines. Be able to lift and carry children (ages may vary) Work cooperatively and respectfully with all team members Displaying a patient and calm personality coupled with a loving approach to every child. Contributing positively to the behavior and social interaction of the children. Requirements Must clear full background check. Must have graduated high school Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 Must be able to obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card by AZDPS Patient, nurturing and thoughtful. A passion for working with babies and toddlers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong understanding of child development and willingness to continue to learning Ability to work well with others (staff, children, parents) and foster a team environment in the classroom. Flexible and dependable when it comes to scheduling. Nice To Haves Professional childcare experience AA, BA, or master's degree in early childhood or related field Ability to work over the summer Ability to work until close (5:30pm) Benefits Healthcare- includes dental, and vision. Paid holidays- includes all federal holidays and all Jewish holidays. Paid time off- if working full time, PTO is 80 hours per school year. Sick leave- is accrued per pay period and rolls over year after year. CHILDCARE BENEFIT- If working full time- will be receiving reduced tuition at 50% off.
