Responsibilities include: Testing electrical systems, documenting actions, repairing electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices, and maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements. Work with an established team of electricians, to complete a variety of customer-driven projects with highly competitive pay. Benefits: • Medical• Dental• Vision• 401(k)• Life Insurance Responsibilities:• The apprentice electrician performs electrical work involved in the construction, maintenance, and/or repair of commercial, industrial electrical construction projects• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order• Punctuality be on time, all the time, at the designated work site• Teamwork and a positive attitude• Completes 10-hour OSHA Safety Course Qualifications:• A willingness to follow Instructions, learn and do the job right the first time• The ability to plan ahead - prepare tools/materials for the journeyman ahead of time; this improves job efficiency and makes a great impression• Able to diagnose problems using electronic test equipment Compensation: $20 - $28 hour About Company: SMSI is dedicated to providing the highest quality mechanical services performed in an honest, dependable, and efficient manner.
