We currently have an opening for a full-time permanent Induction Maintenance Lead Hand based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. Reporting to the Induction Maintenance Crew Lead, the Induction Maintenance Lead Hand will be responsible for supervision and guidance of AME’s, personnel allocation, scheduling, able to work under varying supervision on aircraft undergoing conversion to Air Tankers, incl heavy maintenance, troubleshooting and major component replacements. Able to operate independently and exercise good judgment. In this role your duties will include the following: Lead a team of AME’s in performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft undergoing Air Tanker conversion; Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks; Conduct thorough inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on aircraft systems, components, and structures; Provide technical guidance, training, and support to maintenance technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge; Maintain accurate records of maintenance.
