The Immigration Attorney will manage a dynamic caseload, providing legal counsel to clients on various immigration matters. They will lead a team of paralegals, ensuring efficient case management, adherence to deadlines, and exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a dedication to staying updated on immigration laws, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal representation. Duties:Meet with potential new clients to assess their immigration needsCoordinate case and legal strategy developmentManage multiple cases, paralegals, projects, and deadlines effectivelyTrain and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as neededPrepare and revise court documents, including motions, briefs, and memorandaConduct legal research to support case argumentsStay informed about legislative changes and judicial case law relevant to immigration mattersMarket the law firm's immigration services to attract new clientsWork one Saturday a month, with potential bonuses for new client acquisitions on those daysCross-sell various other legal services offered by the firmHandle court hearings and trials, representing clients in immigration proceedingsBecome an expert in Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJIS, U-Visas, Waivers, etc. Requirements:J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School (required)Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or PR (required)Fluent in Spanish (required)1+ years of Immigration experience preferred Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA Accredited Law School Certifications:Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or PR Skills:Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage a fast-paced caseload efficientlyProficiency in legal research and writingFluency in SpanishLeadership and team management skillsKnowledge of immigration laws and procedures Benefits:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceRelocation reimbursement up to $10,000 (Forgiven after 6 months)VacationsSick Time OffPerformance bonus opportunitiesPaid birthday and work anniversary401K PlanPaid ParkingLife Insurance
