This position reports directly to the Maintenance manager. Primary job duties will consist of daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance tasks and supporting operations to complete corrective maintenance. In addition, this position will help plan and execute various outage tasks, such as contract coordinating, and various preventive maintenance tasks.Job DescriptionKey AccountabilitiesProvide technical assistance to maintenance for equipment and personnel scheduling to ensure maximum availability, utilization, and availability to support Plant operations.* Utilize available resources to maintain accurate, detailed, and acceptable records of equipment and components to ensure timely and effective maintenance.* Order materials and equipment as required under normal and/or emergency conditions to meet the needs of a Plant site.* Coordinate the shipping, repair and return of Plant equipment and parts to meet production requirements in a cost effective and timely manner.* Comply with safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.* Interface with maintenance staff, Plant site operations groups, other company personnel, and vendors/contractors to ensure consistent, practical, and effective maintenance support.* Participate in special projects and committee assignments as requested.Education, Experience & Skill RequirementsHigh School education or GED equivalentFive years related maintenance/materials experience that promotes development in the areas described by the essential duties, responsibilities, and scope of this job.Level of position will be determined by applicable skills/experienceKey Metrics*PC skills and good working knowledge of various applications (Word, Excel, CMMS, Notes, etc.)* Communications - Clearly expresses ideas and responds appropriately to communications from others.* Flexibility/Adaptability - Effectively responds to change in the business or work environment.
