Foxconn Wisconsin is seeking a IC Programming Operator that will work as part of our Production team to install, program, handle product for the production department. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing. The IC Programming Operator will perform duties as operating, installing and programing devices using a computer and proper equipment to complete the job. Job Responsibilities Include: Properly install and remove ICs from sockets. Start, select program and properly shut down a computer. Set up and operate auto/manual programming devices and create job files per SOP of System app and software of job files. Adjusting machine for optimum performance. Sort, search IC and WO via Pangus/IMS, and print label based on WO. Finish record spreadsheet daily. Clean and maintenance auto/manual programming devices daily. Transferring IC from tube/tray to reel. Other Duties as assigned. Education Requirements and Ideal Experience Includes: High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; candidates with prior experience without the preferred education will be considered. Strong attention to detail. Material handling techniques to avoid damage to equipment and components, and to preserve component reliability by wearing gloves or finger cots when required Computer skills, familiar with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) Understands that no piece of equipment, tooling, fixture, etc. is to be modified or altered in any way - the ME and Maintenance personnel are to be contacted. All safety and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements of the area. Principles of ESD and uses ESD precautions in chip handling. Physical Demands: due to some of type of IC is rather small, operator has to have good, normal vision.
