Our existing Robbinsdale clinic is moving to this newly renovated space opening in July of 2024! This position serves as an integral member of the clinical team in providing high quality and caring dentistry as well as an exceptional patient experience.Experienced Hygienists and recent graduates are encouraged to apply!*We are offering loan repayment for this position with a 2-year commitment and a quarterly hygiene incentive.Dental Hygienist Responsibilities: Perform full scope of procedures as outlined in the Delegated Procedures List created by the Board of Dentistry.Key Functions:Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patientsPerform preliminary and existing charting of the oral cavity and surrounding structuresPerform initial and periodic examinations and assessmentsFormulate a dental hygiene treatment plan in coordination with a dentists treatment planComplete debridement, prophylaxis, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy; place subgingival medicaments.Provide nutritional counselingAdminister nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia and monitor patientApply topical medications including fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agentsMake referrals to dentists, medical doctors, and other practitioners in consultation with a dentistHours:Monday-Thursday 7:20am-3:30pmFriday 7:20am-2:30pm*Let us know if you are looking for full time or part time.Dental Hygienist Qualifications:Dental Hygienist licenseExperience working with culturally diverse communitiesAbility to quickly adapt within a fast-paced work environmentCPR/AED certificationProficiency in a second language preferredWhat We Offer:Collaborative, innovative and inclusive team environmentInternal growth and development opportunitiesComprehensive medical, dental and life insurancePaid time off and holiday pay401k plus company matchCE classes and license renewalsAbout Us:At Community Dental Care everything we do is about providing the most caring, culturally respectful, quality dental care to people of all ages and abilities.
