HVACR Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician - Diamondback Mechanical Group: Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration. Full Time / Skilled Trade / San Antonio, TX and Surrounding areas. We are based out of La Vernia, TX, and dispatch most of our calls from there, but use online service software for invoicing. We are Looking for a Commercial Service Technician with an operating knowledge of plant refrigeration, minor plumbing, water pumps and water softeners, Commercial Air conditioning, Ice Machines, Walk-in coolers, and overall knowledge in the Refrigeration Industry. $28.00+ per hour DOE! Must be willing to work various shifts and overtime as needed. This job requires someone who is willing to learn and wants an opportunity to grow with our evolving company Responsibilities: • This position would be a part of our Service department and would be responsible for the repair, maintenance, & support of industrial refrigeration equipment for our valued customers • Responsible for refrigeration repair and maintenance support to accounts in food and beverage and refrigerated storage equipment • Perform routine and emergency service on Freon refrigeration equipment commonly found in refrigeration applications • Use working knowledge of screw and reciprocal compressors, electrical troubleshooting all common types of systems, & control/alarm systems to perform inspections and preventative maintenance as required • Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures and governing requirements Qualifications: A working knowledge of commercial & industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required to be successful in this role Minimum of 5 years' of relevant experience required (supermarket/rack/industrial refrigeration systems) • Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage) • Universal EPA certification Benefits: • We can offer you a career path and training to advance your career to the next level! • We offer competitive salary, full benefits, and growth opportunities to establish a career • Health, medical, dental insurance available • Weekly pay •Vacation & holiday pay • Supplemental insurance available (Aflac) • Short-term & long-term disability coverage available • Accidental death/dismemberment coverage available • Employee referral incentives • Opportunities for advancement, professional development, training opportunities, and apprenticeship programs available High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate, or a degree of higher education in HVACR school program or Extensive experience.
