Questions before applying? 785-966-XXXX SUMMARY: Performs, oversees, and monitors installations of all new and existing HVAC systems, any new refrigeration equipment. Troubleshoots and completes basic repairs of HVAC equipment, troubleshoots and repairs air conditioning systems, water heaters and heating units. Assists with electrical and mechanical systems as needed To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma/GED Willingness to obtain HVAC universal card from an accredited college, OJT program, or technical school Two-Five years of related experience in maintenance or 1-2 years' experience in HVAC Willingness to obtain CPO Certification within 1 year of employment with the Nation Must have a valid Kansas driver's License and be insurable with the Nation's insurance Must be physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach Experienced in plumbing, drywall, spot welding and small equipment operation Must have basic knowledge of machinery/vehicle maintenance Professional work ethics, manner, and appearance Ability to communicate orally and in writing Works cooperatively within office, Tribe and other agencies as needed. Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
