We currently have an opening for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team! Why work for Apex Mechanical? Vacation, Holiday, and sick pay 401K match w/ 4% company match 100% Company Paid Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Insurance Company provided vehicle, tools, and technology Year-round work Pay: Up to $38.00/hr Depending on Experience, plus spiffs/bonus and benefits Job Summary: To provide maintenance on a variety of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems, according to company standards, providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Qualifications: High school diploma or its equivalent Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Pass background check & drug screen 1 + years experience as a residential or commercial service technician preferred Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints Familiar with a wide range of equipment and troubleshooting techniques Experience repairing and replacement decisions EPA Universal Certification NATE certification or willingness to obtain preferred Demonstrate a willingness to invest time in-service training seminars and classes Work from a 28' extension ladder and a 12' step ladder Ability to communicate the benefits of preventable maintenance Demonstrate advanced customer service skills with the ability to communicate ideas and explanations of problems to customers and coworkers
