HVAC Journeyman -- Level 2 Lifestyle Comfort Solutions is looking for an experienced HVAC Commercial Journeyman (Level 2) with mechanical retrofit experience to drive daily results, create a vision, set goals and hold the team accountable. Candidate must have a strong leadership presence and a proven record of success. Position Summary: To supervise and work alongside commercial crews on a variety of commercial HVAC new construction and retrofit projects under the direction of the Commercial Projects Manager to complete plan and spec/design-build projects on time, on budget, and according to plans. A Commercial Journeyman--Level 2 supervises projects lasting from 3-5 weeks. It is the responsibility of the Commercial Journeyman-Level 2 to direct the team members in completing projects to workmanship standards. A Level Two Journeymen models ECS safety standards observe local codes and implement EPA, OSHA, and industry best practices among the team. A Journeyman--Level 2 exhibits the mechanical ability required for success in the HVAC trade, and models a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic among his/her team. A successful Level #2 Journeyman demonstrates a commitment to investing in himself/herself through in-house, in-field, and professional development training. The Journeyman completes all required paperwork completely and on time according to ECS requirements. Journeyman Level #2 may assist ECS management in apprentice performance reviews, and maintain all required record-keeping. Work Hours: Flexible per project 7:30 am-4:30 pm/5 days (8 hrs) or 7:30 am to 6:00 pm/4 days (10 hrs) -- break and lunch times required by law (Overtime as needed) Pay rate: $30-$33 an hour Benefits: 65% of health insurance paid, 100% company-paid life insurance,401k match, dental, vision, PTO, paid holiday, Uniform allowance, PPE provided, and boot account Requirements: At least 21 years of age, high school diploma/GED/equivalent; trade school, college credit, and military experience desirable Valid driver's license, insurable by EnviroControl Systems' insurance carrier Reports day one with required tools Qualified for work in the United States with necessary 1-9 documentation. Negative drug screens per ECS DFW policy; passes a background check Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with EnviroControl Systems' team members in both spoken and written language Demonstrates aptitude to position based on Job Profile Assessment when applicable. Owns all tools required for the appropriate level, good quality, and in good working order. Reliable transportation to and from work each day. Willing to work through EnviroControl Systems' commercial work area including Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, and other job sites as assigned.
