The HR Partner is a newly created role to establish a level of structure and consistency across The Baillie Group Human Resource platform. This would be an ideal role for candidates with a financial or accounting background with experience working with Human Resource departments. Description: Serves as the subject matter specialist for department business and employee relations matters and uses the information to recommend actions for impact planning; advises and provides guidance to leaders, including but not limited to benefits administration, compliance, policy building, employee performance management, and others as assigned. What is expected of this role: Benefits/Compliance Forge and maintain relationships with benefit consultants, legal teams, and profit centers, pursuing The Baillie Group's best interest in annual renewals and negotiations Analyze and assess current 401k and medical plans across family of companies and collaborating with HR Manager and CFO to implement changes to overall benefit ecosystem across Baillie Group Address and comply with legal inquiries, processes, and audits with attorneys and state and federal institutions Become the primary point of contact to ensure the Baillie Group is compliant in all manners relating to Human Resource practices Draft new HR policies in accordance with organizational goals, industry trends and labor laws or regulations. Stay current on HR trends to develop solutions using current best practices in the field. Utilizing current HRIS system, provide data reporting and employee data when required Other tasks as assigned by HR Manager Training and Development Develop consistent onboarding processes and structures across The Baillie Group Work with talent management team to identify opportunities for new job descriptions, training pathways, and employee development Participates in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success Other tasks as assigned by HR Manager Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related area, such as HR, finance, accounting, business, or business relations At least 5 years or more experience in human resources or business, as HR specialist, generalist, auditor, or related field, preferably in a manufacturing setting
