The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing complex and varied human resources and risk management related duties on a professional level in the following areas: recruitment, benefits administration, training and development, employee relations, and risk management. Meticulous attention to detail, strong communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. This position is also responsible for assisting with public information responses, project management, coordinating with on-site consultants, and other work as needed to support the Administration Department. Applicants for the position of Human Resources Generalist must meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications: Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field, and Three years of progressively responsible experience; or Any combination of education and work experience sufficient to perform the work required of the position. Salary and Benefits The hiring range is $72,026 - $78,778 , the starting salary will be dependent upon experience. This is a full-time, Exempt position. The City of Warrenville offers a comprehensive benefits package for employees and their dependents including: United Health Care PPO and Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO insurance plans Express Scripts prescription drug coverage Employer paid Basic Life and AD&D coverage amount of $50,000 Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (Mandatory participation) Additional benefits include an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a generous Tuition Reimbursement program, a Spanish language proficiency bonus, paid vacation days, three (3) personal days, and holiday benefits.
