Human Resources Generalist - Hybrid Work Schedule

Utilities Employees Credit Union (UECU) located in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, with over $1.4 billion in assets, is seeking a highly motivated HR Generalist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support with various HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and any other HR related activities that may arise. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent people skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Responsibilities: Perform all tasks required to support the ongoing education, training/upskilling, and development of credit union staff. Coordinate full-cycle talent acquisition processes, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and onboarding. DEI committee member and active participate in all DEI related projects and initiatives. Assist with employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Keep up to date with changing trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Assist with coordinating and maintaining the new employee orientation program to make it fun and informative. Facilitate and maintain the Building Relationships Intentionally (BRI) Program. Maintain and distribute plan documents and employee communications relating to benefits to meet regulatory compliance. Represent employer in community and recruiting events. Organize annual Biometric Screenings and Flu Shots. Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent work experience. At least three years related experience required. Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems Professional certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus.
