The Human Resources Business Partner provides a variety of administrative and Human Resources support to the Williamsport plant and operations. This role manages the company phone system, greets visitors; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival; and maintains security and telecommunications systems. It will play a vital role in the organization's success by offering guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, benefits, employee relations, and HR best practices. Front Office: Answers incoming telephone calls, determines the purpose, and forwards calls or messages to appropriate personnel or department. Responds to general business inquiries. Welcomes on-site visitors, determines the nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. Creates and receives purchase orders in the AX system. Works with the uniform vendor on uniform needs, issues, billing, and reconciliation of invoices. Human Resources: Maintains company and employee communication boards, including digital content. Maintains personnel records, scans, emails, and sends items to the corporate office. Manages full-cycle recruitment process to properly screen resumes, schedule interviews, and process pre-employment screening and post-offer medical exams. Plans and conducts new employee orientation and assists with the 90-day onboarding of new and transitioning employees. Supports the Executive Director of Human Resources and HR Department with general human resources administration and projects. Assists with preparing materials for delivering and conducting employee meetings, such as quarterly plant meetings, culture meetings, employee training, committee meetings, etc. Acts as the first point of contact with employees and management at the plant; develops and maintains successful working relationships with the management team to influence and provide effective HR processes, advice, and support. Knowledge, Education, and Experience Bachelor's degree in business administration/Human Resources or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must have 3-5 years of relevant human resources experience. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and database programs. Recruiting experience is required.
