Overview: Join our team as a Human Resources Business Partner and embark on a pivotal role based in Toronto, ON, Canada. Key Responsibilities: Counselling Business on HR topics: Be proximate to the business – both line managers and employees, in order to understand their issues and prepare HR actions to address them. Understand and prioritize business needs, translating them into HR actions and delivering results. Implement Business/Corporate/Group HR strategy as applicable to the Region/Global. Ensure compliance with policies and rules according to the Delegation of Authority. Advise, support, and influence management on all HR-related issues, policies, and processes. Deploy ALPS/HRIS, assure data accuracy and sustainability, and utilize metrics to measure HR performance. Maintain good Industrial Relations with unions and social partners. Supervise and lead local HR to deliver day-to-day operational support. Facilitate the budget process for your scope and be accountable for the budget. Providing professional HR support to local business partners. Ensuring adherence to company policies and the deployment of Alstom HR initiatives. Assisting line managers in developing their human relations skills to care for their teams. Recruitment: Ensure project staffing and site HR support are secured on time.
