As an HR Specialist at ROI Construction, you'll take the lead in managing various HR functions aimed at optimizing employee performance and engagement. From employee relations to talent development, you'll play a vital role in driving HR initiatives that support our company's growth and success. Compensation: • Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000• Bonus Potential Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition: • Identify, source, and attract top-tier talent through various channels, including local networking within the industry, online platforms, social media, job boards, and networking events.• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their personnel needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Candidate Screening: • Review resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidates against job requirements.• Coordinate and conduct in-person or virtual interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit. Interview Coordination: • Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and interviewers.• Provide timely feedback to candidates and internal stakeholders. Job Postings: • Draft and post engaging job descriptions on relevant platforms, ensuring they accurately reflect the company's culture and expectations. HR Compliance: • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations through regular audits and updates to HR policies.• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation to support legal and regulatory requirements. Onboarding and Offboarding: • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires.• Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and documentation, to support smooth transitions. HR Administration: • Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee record management.• Support HR projects and initiatives as needed to enhance HR operations and effectiveness. Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification preferred.• Proven experience in HR management and recruitment, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels of the organization.• Keen attention to detail is necessary for accurately maintaining HR records, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced HR environment.• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.• Ability to build positive relationships and foster a supportive work environment through empathy, active listening, and conflict resolution.• Strong problem-solving abilities to address HR issues and challenges effectively, finding creative solutions to support employee engagement and organizational objectives.• Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing priorities, evolving business needs, and unforeseen HR challenges with resilience and professionalism.
