Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor Compensation: $18/hr The Myriad Hotel is looking to hire a detail-oriented and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and a high standard of guest satisfaction. Some of our awesome job perks! Responsibilities: Assign tasks and responsibilities to the housekeeping staff. Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to promptly address any maintenance issues or guest requests. Monitor and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the hotel. Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and used in accordance with safety guidelines. Address any guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping, taking prompt action to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to the housekeeping staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing feedback and recognition for accomplishments while addressing areas for improvement. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong service-oriented culture. Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize staff and guests' accidents, injuries, and health risks. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in hospitality or related field preferred). Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within the hotel industry. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and quality standards. Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and industry best practices. Proficiency in using housekeeping management systems and software. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
