Housekeeper Weekends a Must!The Mirbeau Inn & Spa is seeking experienced hospitality professionals to join our team of exceptional employees! Job Summary This position plays an important role in providing our guests with beautiful and clean accommodations . Responsibilities Report to work in a clean uniform with nametag at scheduled time Effectively clean assigned guest rooms as directed by Housekeeping M anagement following Forbes/Mirbeau standards Ensure all housekeeping cart s are stocked with supplies and linen Remove all dirty linen, glassware, trash from guest room s Dust all furniture, pictures, windowsills, wash floors, and vacuum carpets Straighten furniture, draw curtains, check light bulbs, and replace brochures/collateral to compendium Clean bathroom fixtures, bathtubs, shower stalls, shower curtain, tiles, sinks, counters, and toilets Wax and/or polish surfaces if needed Make beds , replace room amenities/supplies , and ensure all furniture is undamaged and functional C heck for articles left behind and turn in to the Front Desk with room number and date on it Make final check of room and report clean rooms ready to Housekeeping Manage ment Clean rooms on list in a sensible order until list/section is complete In occupied rooms (stayovers) : clean in same fashion as a check out plus arrange guest belongings in a neat manner Use only cleaning products mixed and issued by the Housekeeping Department Clean public restr ooms as directed by Housekeeping Management Complete all required paperwork as directed by Housekeeping Manage ment Report any problems or unusual situations to Housekeeping Manage ment Make rollaway beds or cribs and put into closet as needed Respond to guest complaints or requests and follow through to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness in the housekeeping closets Ensure all keys, equipment, and supplies are used correctly and are returned to the Housekeeping Department as required Attend all scheduled meetings as deemed necessary by the resort Perform any additional assignments as directed by Housekeeping Manage ment Mirbeau is happy to offer benefits including: Flexible Schedule that allows for a work/life balance Paid Time Off for Full-Time employees and Part-Time employees Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 50% discount on Spa Services for Employee & a Guest Discount on Retail products 20% discount on Food 401K with Company Match Employee use of Wellness Programs & Fitness Center Employee Rate on Guest Rooms at all Mirbeau Locations Health, balance, and well-being are particularly high priorities for all, and they have been among our core values from the very beginning.We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.If you want to work in a beautiful setting with opportunities for growth, Mirbeau is the place for you!Check out our other properties: Skaneateles Plymouth Rhinebeck
