Responsibilities: • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests• Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information • Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests• Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information• Mitigate customer complaints as needed Qualifications: • Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems• Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills• Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent• 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred• Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations Compensation: $18 hourly About Company: With 53 rooms located in the heart of this beautiful region, Bluebird Sunapee is the perfect, affordable lodging option for families and friends looking to explore everything the area has to offer in all four seasons.
