2 Fenwick Rd, Hampton, VA 23651 Host/Hostess Competitive Salary Based on Experience Position Summary: Responsible for greeting and seating residents and guests in a professional manner and maintain a customer focused attitude at all times while managing traffic flow and balancing the serving responsibilities among the food servers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :The following duties are an example of some of the responsibilities for this position but not all inclusive. · Greets and seats residents and guests.· Functions as the resident services contact person during meal periods.· Processes guest meal charges.· Assists with orientation and training of new Dining Room personnel.· Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.· Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.· Attend all in-services as required.· Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality). · Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Educational Requirements and Experience: · High school diploma or equivalent preferred.· One year previous experience in dining/food service preferred.0
