The answer is an internship at HOMTV.HOMTV offers an intensive, non-paid internship program that provides hands-on training and real world experience in all areas of television. Interns learn skills in studio & creative production, multimedia journalism and social media & promotion. Previous experience is helpful, but not required.HOMTV accepts applications year-round, but only conducts interviews three times a year after the following application deadline dates.Application Deadlines: Spring 2023 Semester: November 9, 2022 Summer 2023 Semester: March 1, 2023 Fall 2023 Semester: August 5, 2023 QUALIFICATIONS HOMTV is looking for self-motivated team players, who are genuinely passionate about a multimedia career in television production, journalism, public relations, communications or social media.Interns must work a minimum of 20 hours per week including two 4-hour day shifts and evenings (Monday through Thursday after 5:00 pm) for training workshops and to crew live televised productions.This program requires interns to be able to climb a ladder and lift up to 30 pounds. Interns will also be responsible for transporting equipment to and from locations.
