Homelessness Prevention Officer- Housing Options- Swinton Are you a passionate, dedicated Homelessness Prevention Officer looking for your next role 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Triage Officer to join the Housing Options Services in Swinton. Umbrella Pay- £17.01 per hour Temporary Role- 3 months initially Monday to Friday, 36 hrs/week – Hybrid role The role: Working to reduce the number of households becoming homeless by assisting them to stay in their existing accommodation. Providing customers with face to face communication as well as telephone service. Helping households with their housing needs to reduce the chance of them becoming homeless Assisting in finding other accommodation when homelessness cannot be prevented. Liasing with accommodation providers in order to find the best outcome for the customer. To liaise with other agencies when needed. To maintain detailed and accurate reports of customers applications. To undertake home visits, including hospitals and prisons. Requirements: Experience in a housing options role Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Good IT skills DBS on the update service Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. 4Recruitment Services is an equal opportunities employer.
