Job Description : We are currently seeking a talented Remote Java Developer to join our distributed team. As a Remote Java Developer, you will have the opportunity to work remotely from any location and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java-based applications. This is a remote position that offers flexibility and the chance to contribute to exciting projects from the comfort of your own workspace. Responsibilities : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design technical solutions. Develop, test, and implement high-quality Java applications, following best practices and coding standards. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to software development methodologies. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix any issues or defects. Participate in code reviews, providing valuable feedback to team members. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java development. Collaborate effectively with remote team members through communication channels such as Slack, video conferences, and project management tools. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve the software. Requirements : Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Java Developer. Strong knowledge of Java programming language and its core concepts. Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate. Experience with web application development using Java-based technologies (e.g Servlets, JSP, JSF). Solid understanding of database systems and SQL queries. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with version control systems (e.g Git) and build tools (e.g Maven, Gradle). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. Self-motivated and able to manage time and priorities efficiently. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies (e.g Spring Boot, OSS). Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g Scrum, Kanban). Understanding of software testing principles and automated testing frameworks (e.g JUnit, Mockito). Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Contribution to open-source projects or personal Java projects.
