Position Overview: Avid Healthcare Services is hiring X-Ray Technicians to work at a clinic in the Sacramento area. You will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, and testing patients. As well as preparing and positioning patients for imaging. Attending to patient needs during imaging procedures. Applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices. Independently performing or assisting a licensed practitioner in performing procedures such as mammograms, X-ray exams, MRIs. Preparing, administering, and documenting activities related to medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policy We have per diem work available! Position: X-Ray technician Requirements: One Year of Radiologic Technician experience Current CRT License in California Must be able to provide: To provide a valid Drivers License and a pass a background check Provide a current Negative PPD or Chest X-Ray Provide a Current CPR/BLS Certification Qualifications: Familiarity with medical software and equipment Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care Maintain accurate patient medical records Qualified applicants are eligible for: Flexible hours and scheduling. Per Diem work available based on your availability. We offer c ompetitive pay with direct deposit available. We have a 24 hour on-call services in case you need to reach the office for urgent matters. There are Travel Incentives if applicable. We have a g enerous referral bonus if you refer people. Shift Shift hours are from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Please Note that t his position is on a per diem basis. There are n o benefits are associated with this position.
