Description:
Position Description: You will test chassis control strategies in a hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop environment. The Vehicle Controls Software team is looking for an engineer to have the responsibility for validating chassis controls. You will join a team, with the opportunity to restrengthen existing robust verification methods, support test execution, and demonstrate results through data analysis and reporting. What you will be able to do Perform Software Validation testing, analysis, and reporting for production software on HIL and SIL Analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to determine root cause Report issues using automated reporting systems such as JIRA Skills Required: Solid understanding of vehicle structure, subsystems, and components (Steering and Brakes) Understanding of Module Hardware/Software Architectures (ABS, PSCM, PCM, BCM, etc.) Skills Preferred: Familiar with Matlab/Simulink for SIL and HIL applications Understanding of testing methodologies and ability to utilize test equipment (multi meter, scope, logic analyzer, etc.) Experience Required: 1+ years' experience in automotive embedded systems software Experience with HIL test setup, modeling, and environment buildsExperience Preferred:Experience with CAN networks and OBD systems and demonstrated ability to utilize related tools (CANalyzer, Diagnostic tools, etc.) Education Required: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science or related field Education Preferred: Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science or related fieldAdditional Safety Training/Licensing/Personal Protection Requirements: Additional Information : ***POSITION IS HYBRID***
