GENERAL FUNCTION: Performs as an instructor in a regular vocational classroom setting presenting instruction in business clerical and medical reception functions. Promotes a positive atmosphere within the classroom setting conducive to optimal training, learning, and motivation. Demonstrates on-going commitment to preparing students for the workforce by modeling, mentoring, and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards of: workplace relations and ethics; information management; communications; multicultural awareness; personal growth and development; career and personal planning; interpersonal skills and independent living. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor Degree in Business Education, Computer Technology, Vocational Business Education, three years experience in the field or two years experience as an instructor of business clerical subjects. OR An Associate Degree in Business Education, Computer Technology, Vocational Business Education, seven years experience in the field or six years experience as an instructor of business clerical subjects. Licenses or Certificates: n State Teacher's Certificate preferred.
