This position offers opportunities for learning, growth, and advancement within a company that is deeply committed to building strong communities. Heavy Equipment Opportunities are available within various divisions: Aggregates Asphalt | Paving Grading Underground and more. Please note that this role requires a willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa, and Eastern Dakotas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operates medium to heavy equipment. Works closely with other crew members using hand signals to coordinate work and ensure safety. Performs daily inspection and maintenance and ensures that equipment is in safe, proper working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication. Notifies supervisor when equipment needs maintenance and repair. Keeping equipment clean and preparing equipment for transport on flatbed when needed. Maintain orderliness, cleanliness and safety at jobsite. Follow Supervisor's instructions closely. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Understand basics of equipment mechanical's. Experience running heavy equipment is required. Understand and adhere to all safety regulations. Understand and adhere to the Personal Protection Equipment requirements. An unwavering focus on safety. OSHA Willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa and Eastern Dakotas. Work Environment/Physical Demands: Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch and sit. Work outside in all weather conditions. Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Regularly work extended | overtime hours, outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions at all project locations. Travel is required. Duininck is an equal opportunity employer.
