The ideal candidate should be passionate about leveraging technology to shape the future of healthcare. This position will focus exclusively on digital health, representing startups and founder-led companies across all stages, from pre-formation to capital markets. Duties:Provide legal counsel and support to digital health startups and founder-led companies.Advise clients on regulatory compliance issues related to healthcare laws and regulations.Assist in the formation, structuring, and governance of healthcare technology companies.Draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including service agreements, licensing agreements, and vendor contracts.Conduct legal research on healthcare regulations and emerging trends in digital health.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and provide strategic guidance. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar and eligibility to practice law.3-7 years of experience in healthcare law, with a focus on regulatory compliance and advising on the corporate practice of medicine.Strong interest in technology use in healthcare and a passion for shaping the future of healthcare through innovation.Experience working with startups and emerging companies preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the State Bar and eligibility to practice law. Skills:Thorough understanding of healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.Ability to provide practical legal advice in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Strong negotiation and drafting skills.Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to achieve business objectives.
