Health and Safety Trainer Derby c GBP35,000 + benefits Full time, permanent Key skills: Health and Safety, Health and Safety, SHE, Trainer, Training Officer, Manufacturing, Factory New factory, established company Opportunity to make your own mark on the role Use your health and safety knowledge with your excellent communication skills Health and Safety Trainer required for a new factory site with an established company in Derby. This role will give you the chance to make your mark and enhance the current provision. Working with the Production management team, your Health and Safety Trainer role will involve: Providing an extensive induction programme for all new Operatives within the factory Presenting tool box talks Ensuring training and skills records are updated and maintained Providing health and safety information for all new office based staff Liaising as required with customers and suppliers Working alongside SHE Officer from HQ to ensure compliance and RIDDOR reporting Are you: Member of IOSH and either certified NEBOSH or working towards certification Possessing previous experience as Health and Safety Trainer in a manufacturing environment (manufacturing industry experience is essential) Strong communicator, ideally with training qualification or training Able to use your car for occasional business use First Aid certificate (desirable not essential) Working for this well established and well funded company, you will enjoy the usual pension and life insurance benefits together with 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (plus your birthday off) with the option to carry over up to five days, and there will be a further package of benefits to be announced shortly.
