An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Head Nurse to work in an exceptional care centre based in the Salisbury, Wiltshire area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers This is a special care centre which offers an elegant home environment with compassionate, individualised care in relaxing, friendly and homely households. They provide services like long term residential care and dementia respite care To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin As the Head Nurse your key responsibilities include: Support the Home Manager with the management of the Home, with a particular emphasis on clinical nursing leadership Ensure that an excellent standard of resident care is set, delivered and maintained at all times Take responsibility for the safeguarding of adults, and follow the Trust’s whistle blowing policy as required To promote and maintain high standards of resident care and lead the care team and provide skilled care You will have supernumerary time to focus on staff supervision/PDR, Quality Assurance which would encompass care plans and evaluation of good practice The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: You will need excellent communication and inter-personal skills An ability to connect with our residents, flexibility Attention to detail Compassion & empathy and a willingness to work as a proactive team member You will be dedicated to working in a person-centred way that enables our residents to live a dignified and fulfilled life.
