Job title: Head Chef Location: Munich Salary: €4600 - €4800 per month We have an incredible new opportunity with a fantastic luxury hotel chain based in the heart of Munich My client is looking for a Head Chef that will be supporting the Executive Chef in setting high culinary standards. This is the perfect opportunity if you are all about innovation and exceptional guest experience Key Responsibilities: Maintain excellent presentation standards in line with market trends. Ensure meticulous preparation of mise en place for shifts. Oversee timely and high-quality food preparation. Ensure efficient kitchen service, monitor metrics, and resolve issues. Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team on menu changes. Supervise kitchen team, delegate tasks, and provide training. Monitor grooming and hygiene standards. Manage kitchen budgets, control stock, and minimize food wastage. Ensure adherence to hygiene regulations and company policies. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Qualifications: Food handler’s certificate/food safety certification. Industry or Commercial Cookery qualification. Strong communication and supervisory skills. Minimum 3-4 years' similar experience. Proficient in hospitality/tourism industry practices. Key Competencies – Behavioural: Foster a 'Can Do' mindset and proactive approach. Ensure exceptional customer experiences. Facilitate collaboration and optimize team performance. Respond appropriately to challenges with enthusiasm. Uphold technical expertise and ensure safety compliance. Physical Requirements: Continuous standing, walking, carrying, and fine motor skills usage. Occasional pushing, pulling, and walking on uneven surfaces.
