Position Summary: Provide direct care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities that foster independence, community growth, social maturity and inclusion. Provide the support of individuals in the program with dignity and respect in all interactions. Participate in the development and assist in the implementation of each residential habilitation plan with the understanding that all people have the ability and right to participate in one's community in variety of ways.Essential skills, experience, licensure, certification: High school diploma or equivalent required Valid New York State Driver's License required Good interpersonal skills, communication and teamwork. Must maintain required certifications, i.e. AMAP, CPR, First Aid, and SCIP, will provide paid training. This position is eligible for the NYS Healthcare Worker bonus of up to $1500 after 6 months and then $1500 again after the next 6 months. Please speak with us for more details.
