Position: Health and Safety Advisor Key Responsibilities: As a Health and Safety Advisor , you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects maintain the highest safety standards. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. Conducting risk backssments and recommending measures to mitigate hazards. Providing safety training and awareness programs for project teams. Inspecting project sites and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Investigating accidents and incidents, and making recommendations for improvement. Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to promote a culture of safety. Staying up: to: date with industry regulations and best practices. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: A bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (Masters preferred). (Number) years of experience as a Health and Safety Advisor in the civil engineering or water sector. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards (e. g. OSHA, EPA). Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e. g. NEBOSH, OSHA). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem: solving abilities and attention to detail.
