The Components Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for providing overall financial guidance, controllership and operational insight to the Freight Components P&L. This position will require the ability to translate concepts, develop strategy, and be a recognized agent of change. The Components CFO will create financial programs responsive to the external environment and participate in cross-functional business and cultural development What do we want to know about you? Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics and / or CPA Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial and/or operational experience for a large company 8+ years of leadership experience Strong commercial and/or operating experience Ability to travel domestically and internationally Desired Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business Administration and/or CPA Knowledge of accounting policy and practices Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal, leadership skills and influencing skills Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization Strong collaboration working cross functions Established analytical ability What will your typical day look like? Strong partnership / thought leadership with Components operational and commercial leaders Own all planning cycles including developing estimates, operating plans / forecasts / reviews / reports, including STRAP (5-year plan), and Budget (annual operating plan) Overall financial responsibility for the for P&L which includes ~$1.5B Lead a team of 10+ direct reports, and an extended team of ~90 Finance professionals, across various sites and geographies Consolidate financial & operating metrics across Components business units, analyzing key drivers of results; identify risks and opportunities, as well as actions to mitigate risk and capitalize on opportunities Prepare and lead reviews with senior management, providing clear and concise information and analysis for the entire P&L Drive standardization & process improvements in financial planning and reporting across both the finance and operating teams Drive and facilitate new initiatives and to accurately capture the changing economics or structure of the business Key, collaborative partner across Finance staff, including Supply Chain, Services and Digital/Electronics. You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus.
