Primary Purpose: Assist in Keeping Benton Grounds groomed and well kept. Essential Functions and Requirements: Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times. Maintain Benton Grounds Cut Grass Maintain flower beds (Weed Eating) Pickup up trash and/or debris as needed Sweep sidewalks Rake leaves Remove snow/ice Required regular and punctual attendance Ability to work flexible hours (during hot summer days, 6am to 3pm) Heritage believes that each employee makes a significant contribution to our success. That contribution should not be limited by the assigned responsibilities. Therefore, this position description is designed to outline primary duties, qualifications, and job scope, but not limit the incumbent nor the company to just the work identified. It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors. Education : High School Diploma or equivalent; or full-time high school student. Experience: Prior experience in grounds keeping a plus. Knowledge and Abilities: Must be highly motivated and able to work safely and independently Excellent organization skills, follow-through, time management, and interpersonal skills A post offer drug screen will be required.
