Job Description: Wild Thyme Café/Angeline Welcome Center – Grounds & Building Maintenance Specialist Metro Lagoons is pleased to announce we are seeking a Grounds and Building Maintenance Specialist for an exciting and unique opportunity at the Angeline Welcome Center in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. The Center serves as a first stop for potential homebuyers to learn about the Angeline Community as well as a social center for existing homeowners including a public Café. Primary duties will be keeping the indoor and outdoor areas clean and performing light maintenance. The Wild Thyme Café will be open to any visitors, but primary clientele will be Angeline community homeowners and potential homeowners. The grounds and building interiors will be held to an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness. Job Responsibilities: Daily inspection of the building and grounds ensuring facility cleanliness and safety Restroom cleaning Minor repairs and maintenance including preventative maintenance Installation of new equipment and appliances. Record maintenance and scheduling Supply management. Coordination with recurring and one-time maintenance vendors Emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner including on-call availability. Specific duties may include (but are not limited to) the following: Pressure washing/hosing Air blowing Minor landscape maintenance (not including mowing) Mopping and general cleaning Daily and event setup/takedown (signage, tables, etc.) Job Qualifications: · Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar facility · Professional manner, discretion, and appearance · Excellent customer service skills · Strong work ethic · Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously · Proven experience in performing light maintenance tasks, preferably in a similar setting · Maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical) preferred · Ability to stand for extended periods of time · Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather as needed · Ability to lift 50 pounds. · The required schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, some evenings may be required, and flexibility is essential Schedule: 20-32 hours per week depending on need 4 hour shifts Day shift weekends Monday to Friday Morning shift Work Location: In person
