What Youll Do:Perform as engineering project leader leveraging PMU, power quality, AMI, SCADA measurements and other data to monitor, report on, and enhance the electrical performance of the transmission and distribution system.:Support the integration of Inverter:Based:Resources (IBRs) including solar, battery, and wind.:Leads complex troubleshooting of urgent, system:wide electrical grid performance issues and implementation of remedial measures.:Perform engineering design work and engineering analyses with emphasis on grid performance and data quality.:Responsible for detecting and remediating measurement and model issues impacting the successful planning and operation of the grid.:Proposes technical solutions with a data focus.:Evaluates existing and proposed systems and recommend upgrades and/or modifications.:Design and/or codes computer programs.:Prepare and/or conduct written and oral reports and presentations.:Prepare recommendation material for management consideration.:Administer and review work performed by consultants and others.:Perform field engineering work.:Responsible for project budgets and schedules.:Prepare specifications and evaluates bids.:Occasional contact with customers and outside agencies.:Contact with suppliers of equipment and services.:Occasional travel to supplier's facilities, industry organizational functions and SRP facilities.:Ability to navigate and understand engineering schematics, diagrams, and prints.:Ability to work effectively with various organizational groups within SRP.:Ability to use engineering tools required for the job (i.e., computer, test equipment, etc.).:Ability to perform in a hybrid office:telework environment
