Part Time Greenhouse/ Interior Event Stylist ** 32 hours per week ** Our Mission: Our caring communities and services assist individuals, families, and children in realizing their potential and enjoying the highest possible quality of life through the traditions of Freemasonry. Our Greenhouse / Interior-Event Stylists carry out our Mission of Love by coordinating with the team Supervisor to plan, design and implement, and care for all interior and exterior planters and event props for various areas of the campus. They are responsible for the following: Knowledge of interior plant and exterior annual flower cultural practices, for aesthetically appealing floral arrangements and exterior planters (including requirements for optimum growth, seasonal care and corrective practices) Design and work with floral, exterior annual plants and decorative prop materials, in various ways, within budget constraints, to achieve a specific unified theme Help plan, organize and execute interior seasonal, holiday and special event d�cor Record keeping of to include personnel use, chemicals, amendments, plant acquisitions, plant nomenclature and plant/planter placement in sections. Maintain correct safe use and proper maintenance of all equipment. Application of chemicals (herbicides, fungicides, growth regulators and pesticides) in a timely and safe manner. Participating in campus-wide snow operations, by snow-blowing and/or shoveling designated route, during winter weather conditions (potential off hours call-in). What You Should Bring: A passion for active, hands on, floral/plant arrangements & event decoration High school graduate or equivalent A valid Pa. Driver's License. Ability to acquire a PA state pesticide applicator's certification. Good written, oral, organizational, and basic computer skills.
