Graphic Artist - INTERN POSITION Creative · Flex Hybrid: Onsite and Remote ROYAL DEMONS APPAREL is a startup URBAN fashion clothing brand. It is a lifestyle, a vision, a culture. Job Summary: ROYAL DEMONS APPAREL is seeking an experienced, personable, and well-organized Graphic Artist to join our team. This position requires great communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to problem solve, remain focused under stressful conditions, and impeccable attention to detail. Previous experience as a Graphic Artist is highly recommended, as well as a strong understanding of the fashion/art world, the community, and the clients we cater to within URBAN MARKETS. Graphic Artist Duties/Responsibilities: · Work with creative leadership and artist to develop concepts and graphics from start to finish· Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines· Create art sheets with Pantone, art placement, wash and garment color mockups· Create mock-ups, recoloring cads and art· Embroidery design and file setup· Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and software to maintain proficiency in design tools and techniques· Prepare art for print· Ensure the placement and scale of the graphic are correct for garments· Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: · Complete understanding of the screen print process· Understanding of ink types· Knowledgeable in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom· Knowledgeable in illustration, hand lettering, painting, separations, packaging, social content, and logo design· Experienced in print and pattern design· Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment· Freehand illustration and typography skills are a plus but not required· Excellent written and oral skill with the ability to communicate effectively· Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously· Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work· Ability to prioritize tasks· Trustworthy and reliable Education and Experience: · Must have 2 years graphic design experience Physical Requirements: · Comfortable standing for long periods of time, physically mobile; can lift up to 25 pounds· Work long days when needed Job Type: · Intern Full time/Part time/ContractFor additional information or assistance, please email XXXX@RoyalDemons.com.
