First Foster Consulting, LLC is a Management and Government Consulting firm providing Grant Writing, Proposal Management/Writing, Business Development and Capture Services to the federal, state and local governments. We are currently seeking a Grant Writing Consultant to provide part-time support for a higher education client. The candidate must have federal grant experience and will be asked to support non-profit clients as needed. The support will be virtual. DUTIES The grant writer would be called upon to provide the following services: Grant Writing and Proposal Development: Draft and refine LOIs, formal proposals and potential RFP responses. Refine template language so that standard library is maintained for all users. As appropriate, address follow-up inquiries directly or through referral to client and/or client Foundation personnel. Supporting Documentation Coordination: Collaboratively work with client and/or client Foundation personnel to produce supporting documentation needed for LOIs and/or proposals, including but not limited to budgets, logic models, statements of need, and supplemental narrative information. Proposal tracking and grant compliance: Grant writer may be asked to assist client with refining processes for proposal preparation and grant compliance (tracking and reporting). Opportunity Identification and research : Opportunity identification and research grants service involves identifying and researching potential grant opportunities for organizations or individuals. This includes finding suitable grants, researching eligibility criteria and deadlines, matching projects with appropriate grants, assisting with applications, and providing follow-up support. The goal is to help clients secure funding for their projects. EXPERIENCE Experience with operations and procedures normally associated with federal funded grants and processes. Strong Analytical and business math skills. Written and verbal business communication skills. Project management and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with organizations throughout the county and state. WORK SCHEDULE Part Time (40 hours per month) LOCATION Remote TIMELINE ASAP Powered by JazzHR
