This role will evolve and oversee the travel program at Grammarly, company-wide, and business unit travel initiatives, travel policy development and management, the traveler and travel arranger experience, and vendor relationships and negotiations.Your impactAs a Global Travel Manager, you will ensure that the journey to and from our hubs is seamless, from booking to arrival at a hub to returning home safely, by building and evolving a program that will operate successfully at a global scale and that will make bookings and tracking employee travel as simple as possible. Our remote-first hybrid model combines the flexibility of working from home with the benefits of gathering in person. How we bring our people together, and the experience when we come together is paramount.In this role, you will: Manage our global travel program, ensuring all preferred suppliers and vendors perform and evolve the program to meet our needs.Own the Global Travel Policy, the tool(s), and the operation for a frictionless travel experience.Own the global travel budget.Ensure that consistent high-quality pricing and service are maintained.Partner closely with the Finance and Procurement team to assess T&E performance vs. negotiated KPIs and industry benchmarks.Stay at the forefront of travel industry technology, trends, and innovations by evaluating industry practices and trends to help identify continuous program improvements.Partner closely with Mobility, including visa and immigration, to understand how team members can travel globally to conduct business.Own the relocation program for team members moving to another supported location—partnering closely with People Operations, who own the relocation policy.Develop processes, policies, and strategies for air travel, lodging, ground transportation, travel booking tools, and car rental.Partner with Finance to ensure best practices in sourcing, reporting, expensing, cost efficiencies, budget adherence, and alignment on new policies and initiatives.Foster trusted and effective business partnerships and cross-functional relationships with senior leaders across multiple regions.Train our team members on travel booking guidance and best practices.Provide advice and support for troubleshooting issues related to team members' use of the travel program, including policy requirements, online booking tools, approval processes, travel insurance, and other travel-related queries. Also, solicit feedback for continuous improvement.Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Connections and Community on group travel bookings and requirements to ensure a smooth experience when team members visit one of our hubs for a connections week.Partner with Corporate Security to identify risks and protect team members while traveling on business.
