The golf shop assistant will work with the Merchandiser to perform day to day duties which include, but are not limited to, re-arranging the Golf Shop, receiving and tagging inventory, general cleaning, and ensuring that the Golf Shop has a neat and orderly appearance at all times. They must have exceptional customer service skills and be willing to help a member with their shopping needs. The golf shop assistant must have a general knowledge of the game of golf. Day to Day Responsibilities Receive inventory Tag Inventory Greet member by name upon entering golf shop help them find what they are looking for Fold/Hang/Steam inventory Put out new inventory Re-arrange the Golf Shop once a week Check Demo Club Dates Log/file completed invoices Place Special Orders/Receive and let members know their orders have arrived Other various jobs that come up throughout day These are not be limited to merchandise related tasks (ie print shaft labels and put on clubs, put gifts on carts during events, etc.) Must be able to: Lift at least 30lbs Answer phones and make tee times Run Jonas System Help with inventory at the beginning of each month Must Have: Exceptional customer service skills Experience with word, excel, and other computer programs A clean, well kept appearance Good organizational and communication skills Experience with merchandising (preferred) Hours Seasonal Position March-October30-40 hours/week 0
