What you will be doing: Reporting to ATL's Vice President of Engineering, our Global Director leads Engineering and Project Management NPI teams; providing inputs on technical matters across the internal organization and externally through customer engagements. Our high-performing NPI team is respected for technical competence and ingenuity as they deliver customer projects to production. They incorporate IR&D and Automation into the Product Development Process, and accelerate the collaboration with operations that enables ATL to reach aggressive growth targets. Location: fully remote or located at our physical site within USA or Costa Rica. What we expect from you: Bachelor's Degree in STEM program, or equivalent experience. MBA is advantageous; not required. 10years of experience in Engineering Management; including 2+ years Director level experience. 2+ years within globally focused roles; including USA, Latin America, and Asia. Experience utilizing typical engineering, operational, and financial software solutions (ex. ERP, PLM, PM). Regulatory knowledge and practical application experience (FDA, ISO). Demonstrated business acumen and experience managing budgets and operating plans. Proven presentation skills to varying levels and group sizes; including Board of Directors, Executives, External Customers, Suppliers, and internal staff. Experience optimizing and streamlining global organizations to . Understanding of typical merger & acquisition due diligence and integration activities; direct experience integrating teams in post-acquisition environment is a plus. Ability and willingness to work flex schedules to accommodate time zones based on business demands and team leadership requirements. English language fluency; Spanish or Mandarin is a plus for global team collaboration. Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. What's in it for you: Flexible work schedule.
