We've grown from one restaurant to 13 full-service sushi restaurants with dine in, delivery and pick up in Hawaii and Washington. Must reside on the Big Island; non resident applicants will not be considered. After completing the training period the Restaurant Manager will step in to lead the store and existing staff. Responsibilities : Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant for both FOH and BOH Hire, train and manage all staff Ensure all goals are met or exceeded for sales, cost of goods, employee retention, customer service, safety and sanitation Ensure compliance with DOH and HIOSH regulations Qualifications: 2+ years of active and current Back of House - Food & Beverage (Restaurant) experience including; food preparation and cooking 2+ years of active and current Front of House - Restaurant customer service and serving experience 2+ years of Management or Supervisory experience in a Restaurant setting with work shift scheduling, cost of goods management and employee counseling Excellent knife handling skills, rated 3 on a scale of 1-4, with 4 equivalent to a master chef level Possess current documented certification for safe food handling from ServeSafe or HI DOH TB clearance certification Working knowledge of and compliance with DOH, OSHA and HIOSH regulations Available to work full-time any day of the week, for all shifts Highly motivated individual with the ability to lead Quickly comprehend and accurately apply directions Willingness to relocate when needed to support the performance of other stores
