Description Specialization: Surgery General Job Summary: Highlands-Cashiers Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support our general surgery/ortho team in a growing surgical practice in Highlands, NC. Qualified Candidates: Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program BLS, ACLS/PALS certification NC or multi-state nursing license a plus APP Experience in a surgical practice/OR setting a plus General bread and butter and Orthopaedic cases New Grads welcome M-F Schedule Blend of IP/OP Incentive/Benefits Package: This is an employed position with HCA Healthcare Benefit offerings for you and your loved ones: health, dental, vision & pharmacy 401k and stock options Commencement bonus for those relocating more than 120 miles About Highlands-Cashiers Hospital: Highlands-Cashiers Hospital is a community hospital serving Macon, Jackson and the surrounding counties. Located on Highway 64 between the towns of Highlands and Cashiers, the hospital offers 24/7 emergency care, acute inpatient care, rehabilitation, as well as long-term care through Eckerd Living Center. Highlands-Cashiers Hospital has 24 beds for acute care services and 80 beds in the Eckerd Living Center. Ambulatory services are also available, including therapy services and primary care practices serving both Highlands and Cashiers.
