About our client: They are a well: established dessert restaurant chain known for its delectable desserts, exceptional customer service, and innovative menu offerings. They are currently seeking an energetic and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations at one of their dessert restaurants. What you will do: Inspire and lead the team by setting an example of excellence. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and mutual respect. Recruit, train, mentor, and manage staff members. Handle performance management and disciplinary actions when necessary. Organize team meetings to celebrate successes and address challenges. Ensure every customer feels valued and satisfied. Manage financial aspects, including budgeting and forecasting. Monitor and reduce operational costs, such as COGS and labour. Analyse sales data to optimize staff schedules for cost management. Ensure food and beverages meet high: quality standards. About you: Proven experience as a General Manager in a restaurant setting. Exceptional communication and leadership skills. Customer service orientation. Strong understanding of business financials. Strategic decision: making skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Passionate about desserts and product innovation.
