General Manager Summary: WellBorn Management is seeking a General Manager with demonstrated leadership qualities who understands that our success is directly connected to the performance and behaviors of our associates. The General Manager consistently leads the hotel team in supporting our mission of creating as exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for the operation of the property. Ensures operational excellence is maintained, including a sanitary, safe, respectful, efficient and quality work environment while effectively managing operational/product costs.Achieves the budgeted goals of the property but do so with the highest amount of integrity and sound leadership.Always reliable, independent thinker and good decision-maker. Create a culture of respect, empowerment and fun in caring for our guests while ensuring profitability and operational excellence are maintained. Values training and adheres to WellBorn’s training systems. Requirements: Minimum of two years’ experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager preferred, along with the strong ability to:· communicate effectively in all situations· develop and monitor all revenue and sales opportunities.· monitor costs and adjust according to market conditions.· manage, train and motivate a diverse team.Bachelor's degree preferred, must demonstrate knowledge of the hospitality industry. Requires good verbal and written communication skills.Must possess computational ability.Must possess advanced Excel skills.Must possess advanced computer skills.Possess the ability to supervise situations and accomplish goals on a timely basis.
